The person that achieves a healthy and peaceful mind will always lead a healthy life. We are over stressed and and over worked in this world we live in. Kids, work, ball games, dance classes etc… Stress is a known factor to complicate your life. Think of your mind like a race car revving at the starting line. You hear the roar of the engine close to red line and your ready to take off, wheels spin and were off, going 200 mph. But how do we bring our mind down from that race called life? The objective is to lead a healthy calm productive life. Meditation has many healing factors. Controlled breathing helps us lower our blood pressure and bring us to a relaxed state. If we solely focus on a single portion of the body we deliver more blood flow to that region which will in turn increase the oxygen which has a healing affect. The best time for meditation is in the morning, starting our day out focused. Have you ever woke up and your mind started racing knowing that you had so many things to do that day but could not possible get them done.
